spring cleaning

my parents and some relatives were suppose to head over to my place tomorrow coz its raya and they've got holiday but i dont.. haha.. not that i dont but i have to jaga estate.. so cant leave.. but at the end of the day only ended my family coming coz the others had somethings to do or something la..


i practically spend whole morning and afternoon cleaning my house, changing the water for my pond which was really dirty (i'll go through the process later), weeping the outside of my house which is damn alot, wasking toilet and even ran around chasing a monitor lizard around because it got into my house through an open window.. fulfilling huh..??.. haha..


at least my house is clean again:) oh almost forgot.. boiled leong sui, went out to buy stuff to stock up my food supply as if i'm a refugi of war.. lol... got mojo honeydew, mango, pear and some chocolates:)


anywayz, jst want to wish everyone out there SELAMAT HARI RAYA..!!

bloody bugger!!

woke up this morning to make myself a nice breakfast while my maid was cleaning up my house then headed to office to settle some claims and receive some last min instructions before i become manager for a week..


so whats with being manager for a week? my manager n the other assistants will be going off for holiday and will only be back on sunday night.. so its only me here to manager the place with 1 other staff for a week.. ya la.. its my first time handling more than 2 thousand hectares of land on my own so sure nervous la.. but then can la.. no problem!!.. lol...


after finishing everything, went out to bahau with chiew for lunch.. on the way out after the traficlight, there was a slight jam so i slowed down my car and behold a dumbass proton wira hammered me in the back!!! my goodness!!! the worse part is the bloody fellow did not even stop as i pull over at the petrol station just about 50 meters after the collation!!


so i went to the police station to make the report la.. and the stupid police asked me to not make the report.. y? simply because the stupid police did not want to do any investigation.. what he asked me to do is just go fix the car urself!! WTF!!! but at the end i just made the report since i'm gonna pay taxes which is their salary.. so who cares!!! let them work since they r so lazy!!


after seeing my company mechanic, he offered to fix it for me for only 100 bucks.. so ok la.. fine.. get it done.. but what i wanted is to get a brand new perodua bumper to repair it.. since i'm gonna claim the opposite's insurence which might not happen.. so haihz... bare with it la... sad..


anyhow, my car's not really that badly dented la.. but shit la.. that bloody guy!!! IDIOT!!!


anyway, if anyone sees this dark blue proton wira with the number plate WHB6143 stay away!! his driving sucks!!!

back from training and at my very much missed estate..

after 2 weeks of so called PAID holiday cum training, its time to head back to the REAL WORLD!!

left ipoh at about 3pm to go to HQ ro pick up somethings then heading back to Ayer Hitam.. on the way we met william and few other guys then decided to drop by a rest house to have a drink as it was a really long journey for us..


after that we continued and stopped at senawang giant for some "shopping" and dinner but ended up not really buying anything.. but at least i enjoyed my black pepper hot plate yee mee.. :)


by the time me n badrul reached the estate it was 10+pm.. but we drop by the office which is NEW.. cant believe they moved in without us.. haha.. which is good coz wont need to pack my stuff.. but i've got some books and records still missing.. really need to go hunt for it soon..


some other news i got was that seems like its most likely i'm gonna get transfered to malay rompin.. whats to be said about it?.. i asked for it... although i'll be leaving the bigger estate, bigg house, nicer place for a more remote and isolated area but i'll have to stretch myself to learn more, be much more independent and of course prove my worth.. it was never n easy job to handle a whole 587 hectares urself.. even a acting manager only has about 500 hectares..


all in all its good that i'm being posted there.. so i can learn real quick.. coz i've been pretty much protected and pampered here.. out there, i'll have to fight for survival and learn how to!!! besides, getting a transfer was part of my career plan to be promoted to manager in 5 yrs.. hahaha..


let me tell u whats cool about being a manager..
1. u get ur own really huge bungalow
2. u get a free hilux with free petrol
3. u get to sit around n play golf all day as ur workers work their butts off
4. u get really good salary which might hit 5 digits
5. awesome bonus somewhere between 6-10 months per year
6. with great pay comes great responsibility.. so yeah.. thats the catch.. u got to be in-charge of an asset worth nothing less than 50mil ringgit.. some estates are worth more than 150mil depending on location, age profile and hectarage


yup.. so thats just part of the things.. anyway, i'm grateful that people has confidence in me.. hopfully i'll not let them down.. as for now, Mr. VJ Kumar (my training manager) said i'm not a planter yet.. only a flower planter coz i am yet to plant any oil palm trees.. only leads of flowers.. lol...


my new bed had arrived.. but sad to say i wont be bringing it on my transfer.. so looks like someone else will be enjoying it as soon as i get transfered.. but i have not recieved any official memo yet.. so i'll just have to sit back and wait for it.. half an hour ago some of my workers were asking me about it.. but yeah.. i dont know how true is it so would be best not confirming anything..

last few days been busy.. only could get online for a short while at night..


overall, things r good.. its good to have some time off from the estate after 3 months there..


able to meet up with 19 other gila and new assistants.. almost everynight go out lepak, so see chicks.. hahaha... thats what happens when u get locked up in the jungle too long without a gf.. lol...


i'll try to post more photos and stuff some other day.. sleep time..

leaving for 2 weeks.. :(

last few days been pretty much busy preparing and finishing up things before i leave for training. somehow the past 1 n half weeks seemed to fly by really quickly as i dont have much time to just sit at home n get really bored much..


basically i've been very much working on my project at the new office.. its not completely done but its almost ready.. i've snapped some pic of it..

today, what i've been doing is going on a joy ride with my manager and doing nursery hopping.. from the nursery in bahau to the ones in kuala pilah.. pactically spend the whole moreing out with him.. got back then realizing i was very short of time.. but still good thing can complete my things at 6.30pm when my work is suppose to end at 1pm.. lol...


as for my little investment cum business, its been doing well.. but the problem is i'm really short of cash now even had to borrow some money from my parents to lend it to my worker coz of RAYA.. haihz... but anyway.. thanks mom.. :) now i'm just counting down to the 19th where my money will come in again coz its their PAYDAY :) i current profit is i think just slightly below RM200.. i'm not too sure coz din really count today..


as for now, i'm ady all packed n ready to go to sleep then leave tomorrow at 8.30am with badrul.. there r few things i'm actually worried about.. my house, my fish n my dear monkey.. although ady arrange people to come feed it 3 times a day (breakfast, lunch, dinner) and ady bought grapes, apples, pears and other things worth more than 30 bucks for him.. i think this monkey spends mroe money of food than me.. lol... anyhow i'll miss mojo... haihz... wonder if i can take him along..

UTAR -> good?

i noticed that my post on segi college has had pretty many hits somehow but i definitely did not write anything nice about it.. coz what i wnt through there sucked... so since i'm an ex UTARian so i guess i should also write something about UTAR..


i'll start off with the pro of UTAR

1. its pretty much cheaper than other private uni
2. most of it's courses are credited by LAN which is suppose to be good
3. its new campus is really big, beautiful and conducive
4. the rapidly growing university is being affiliated with many world renowned universities
5. they are always striving to improve their standard of education and lecturers
6. utar certificated is well recognized by many private and governmental organizations
7. various highly demanded courses are being added into the list of offered course hence foundation in utar is highly recommended
8. enables students to be in touch with many event organizing to improve communication, management and social skills
9. provides good soft skill and other vocational trainings to students at a very reasonable price
10. the uni invest heavily in research and development in sciences


the con of utar
1. its highly populated with chinese hence the level of english language might not be as good as some other uni
2. the standard of lecturer are not well maintained but they are working on it
3. weak alumni community as it has just been founded
4. if not placed at kampar, other campuses might not be as condusive because some of the faculties are placed at industry lots


some other things why you should consider UTAR
1. our vice president Dr. yeoh is an awesome person. friendly, meek yet at the same time respectable
2. more than 80% employment 6 months after graduation
3. offers scholarships + master programme scholarship
4. offers study loans (PTPTN)
5. i dont know.. i guess coz i'm from there..


from my experience there its not the best learning environment but indeed my uni life where i was actively involved in events and socities was well worth. learn alot from my supervisors, seniors and other people. new skills, new friends, had to push myself through sleepless nights and all... made me a hard shell to take on the working world.


besides that if u dont think u r really smart u can really consider UTAR as u will be able to graduate. but if u are a high flyer, the moment u start getting results, u'll be really happy to see your name in the first class list during convocation rather than a second upper in some other universities.


think about it.. consider it..

3 days to training..

yesterday my manager brought me over to a division of my estate. its about 600 hectare of prime oil palm.. decently good crop which should be able to hit 30-31 tonne per hectare for this year..


manager asked me of i would like to go over there.. which very much was hinting that he might send me over if i would consider it.. but then the problem is that shifting there means alot more responsibility and hard work.. coz if i go there, i'll be the only assistant there with the manager only coming over once or twice a week.. what if i get stuck with some work.. hahaha... besides that, the assistant house there is not as nice as the one i'm living in now.. its kind of smaller.. the house itself and the compound.. haihz...


but the best part of it is that i can have the freedom to move my workers around to complete things quickly without the disturbance of other assistants.. lol... besides that i will not be so closely watched by mr. manager which aint always the best thing.. but then without much help i need to be very independent and learn up things very quickly.. more like forced to which is good.. but then the best part of if i'm transfered there is i am able to really prove my capacity and ability hence alowing myself to promote myself hopefully quickly..


that was yesterday... today basically everything went as normal.. bla bla bla... had a friendly game today where we won 5-2.. :) din really have much of the ball and any really dangerous shots plus had my form back..


after that i had bala over for dinner.. cooked spagetti carbonara.. basically its white sauce.. ummm.was slightly salty but then overall it was really nice and cheesy plus the cheese sausage i added went along really well.. had a short chat before him leaving.. so i guess its good la.. can make people working for u happy so that they r more willing to work.. just hope he dont mess up things while i'm gone.. haha.... i'll need to call back to do regular check up..

monday...

today's progress of work.. finished putting the bricks together with cement and now its the plastering part where all the bricks will be covered with cement for a real good look.. only half the T and AM is done.. i'll need to quickly prepare to build the logo and start planting the flowers..

there's alot to be done for the logo.. leveling the ground, doing the outline for the logo, doing a actual mock up on the ground, lining the bricks then cement them together, plastering and also planting for plants.. haihz... the hardest part is the logo's not a simple shaped thing.. its... difficult.. but i'll do it...

today it marks a start for my 1000 bucks investment.. i'm selling rice (beras) and petrol(minyak) in the estate from my house... 1000 bucks of rice and petrol is alot.. but i'm ady almost sold out.. i ady sold 160kg of rice and 80 liters of petrol.. i still have 90kg of rice and 40 liters of petrol left until end of this week.. i'm now stuck with only 250bucks until mid of the month where all thier UTANG (oweing) will be paid when thier salary comes in..


all in all although i seem poor but when i finish selling all of it n middle of the month comes, i'll make about 125 bucks.. hahaha... thats a 12.5% return in half a month (salary is paid twice a month).. imagine bigger model and a full month..


i expect myself to see a small shop opening latest in 2 months time selling more than 1200kg of rice and 400liters of petrol a month :) that would be a nice fat side income for me.. :) but the question again is where do i get such a model??.. hahaha... dont worry.. i dont spend much here plus i'll find a way.. as its says: "if there's a will, there's a way".. just hope my monthly savings can hit 500 a month which is more than i expected..

am i turning into a workaholic or am i just bored??

for the last few days been working n working n working.. even today (sunday also work).. haihz.. honestly speaking i dont know if its because i'm too bored at home.. so i work a full day on saturday n sunday even though saturday is a half day and i;m off on sunday.. besides that i play football until 7.30 after work everyday just to kill time.. take my shower, cook then watch some tv n online before going to sleep.. thats life for me.. lol...


besides that tis is a project that i've been working on for soometime ady.. a row of words right in front of the new office "LDG. AYER HITAM"... next up after finishing it is to plant flowers in and around the words and also a really difficult task... make a KLK logo next to the words.. i only have 1 weeks before leaving..

football??..!!

today as usual.. work.. but out of a sudden was involved in a football friendly match with a team from bahau..


so i went for it late to only be able to play in the 2nd half which was not much better than the first half. our players were very much confused with their roles and position allowing the opposing team an upper hand and controlled the game with more possession..


after getting on the field, i was only to put the losing 4-0 game to 6.-1.. at least we scored ONE.. hahaha.. i guess the teams needs to do alot of training, running, sprinting, passing and hell loads of strategy ans set piece practice..


its friday tomorrow and i got lots of stuff to complete before i leave the estate and head for training at ipoh for 2 weeks.. my days are short here.. eh... 9 more days before leaving.. haihz...

Missing Mojo... again..

after a long holiday, its time to head back to work.. missing my house, fishes and of course mojo... this time i followed a new road thanks to my dad's gps system.. the road was really dark and stuff but then one thing it did is save 15 bucks tol.. so its good i guess..


i reached back at my estate to find mojo missing again.. my goodness.. this time i went to the guest room where he was hiding the last time to look for him.. but he was not there.. since it was only 10+pm.. i went around the house looking for him.. but then could not find him.. haihz.. so went to bed..


woke up.. ding dong ding dong, went to work, cane back to find mojo in my chicken cage behind my house.. my maid locked him in the day before coz he was running about disturbing her... lol... used some food to tempt to get into the cage then lock that silly thing in.. lol...


anyhow he's back n everything's back to normal.. work work work.. today my maid also cleared 4 dead rats out of my room.. somehow the foul smell was around since last nite so i asked her to check it out n found FOUR of them.. DEAD... i dont know why and dont plan to... but its gone for good.. :)

went to church.. got back then went to 1U with derick n jamie to watch movie.. ended me n derick watching Babylon AD.. it was ok until the movie ended... the ending was... SUCKY... so sudden n did not really have a good ending.. after that went to 3cj to eat.. wah.. the chili very nice... not spicy but very nice la.. u need to try to know.. then willy also joined us... went around shopping bought football gloves..


after that we went to willy's place so he could shower before heading to ampang view point.. had really late dinner (12 midnight) at gasoline.. the food.... ok ok lor.. nothing that special..it was bit expensive somemore suppose to have ice cream.. but kena con.. tak dapat.. :( but at least we had a good time la.. talking n stuff... got home about 3am..




monday

woke up at 10.30 to bath n prepare to go for a buffet lunch at chours hotel.. the same hotel where i took my lunch after my convo... the lunch was to celebrate my graduation just with some close relatives.. the food today was much better than saturday... tasted better but there were much more ppl.. so was bit crowded la.. n i dont really like crowds except when clubbing.. haha... had a good time with my relatives.. had some good chat about work n bla bla bla.. many went "wow.. u have a monkey ar... so when can i see it?? take photo, take photo.." ok.. yes.. i'll take a photo soon.. post it here so u can see mojo...


was pretty full after the lunch.. ate so much.. but then went again to meet derick, jamie n willy at curve at about 4pm.. go walk around tesco and ikea.. ended up buying a lamp that i've been eyeing.. its cheap but looks nice.. just to occupy some space in my house.. hahaha...


after that we had curry puff then headed to the pet shop to find mojo a collar chain.. but then could not find a suitable one.. but i found out something else.. Sin Yong got gf ady... hahaha.. that fellow diam diam ubi berisi.. hahaha... got gf also din let anyone know... evilness....


after that we headed to murni at ss2 to eat there. mana tau tak buka.. so decided to head to ming tien.. but on the way change minds and headed to yuan for buffet steamboat... thanks to me... i've been stuffing myself with food after more food.. my goodness... getting fat...


we din really eat that much.. but we ate more of prawns n fish.. so yeah.. i guess worth it la... plus we sat next to the chicken wing tray.. so got pretty much of it... but at the end before we left the tray was full of chicken wings coz everyone had enough of food ady...


having 2 buffets in a single day is not fun... its awful.. i feel all the food in my stomach.. haihz... getting fat.. so i'm gonna berpuasa with the malay frens.. haha.. puasa from good food for sometime.. having simple food plus mroe fruits.. derick also say my blood is dirty coz my eyes r getting yellowish... my meals from now on = more fruits, more vege, less meat... :)
